Souters has been training continuously since 1988 in the City of London.

We also design fully bespoke training packages on demand to cover both legal and soft skills areas as well as office related IT skills. These can be delivered at our centre or at your own venue; we are currently providing courses for overseas delivery by our tutors.

Souters Careers division maintains an active data base of available trained candidates both experienced and newly trained. We charge  an administration fee for this service which is nominal in relation to typical agency commissions.

The new website about to launch in August 2007 will allow online posting of CV's and access thereto by potential employers and students past and present

MARKET SURVEY and SAMPLE TESTING

Throughout 2003 we conducted a survey and training experiment with existing Legal firms in London, mostly in the 10-50 partner range.

We found that many firms hire support staff on the basis of previous experience elsewhere in the sector and that substantial finder commissions are paid to agencies.

However each firm has its own unique operating system and experience at a firm elsewhere in the sector may not be particularly relevant to another firm.

Many of the existing legal secretaries we trained for firms did not have sufficient understanding of the legal area in which they were working and found that exposure to our training greatly increased their:

• Understanding of their work
• Overall productivity
• Job Satisfaction
